Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Technology Tutor at technologytutor.academy (the "Site"). By using the Site you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. Accounts

You may create a free account to save content and track progress. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your credentials secure, and for activity under your account. You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Danger Zone.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Break the law, infringe others' rights, or harass anyone.
• Scrape, resell, or systematically reproduce the Site or its content beyond ordinary personal use.
• Attempt to bypass security, rate limits, or access controls, or interfere with other users' use of the Site.
• Upload malware, spam, or content that is unlawful, deceptive, or harmful.
• Use the interactive tools to generate content that violates the underlying model providers' policies.

3. Content and licenses

Editorial content on the Site (posts, courses, lessons, guides, explainers) is owned by Technology Tutor or licensed to us. You may read it, quote briefly with attribution, and link to it. You may not republish or repackage it without permission.

You retain ownership of content you create through the Site (saved prompts, tool outputs, notes). By storing it on the Site, you grant us a limited license to host, back up, and display it back to you as part of the service.

4. Educational content, not professional advice

The Site is educational. It does not provide legal, financial, medical, security, or other professional advice. Do not rely on it as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional.

5. AI-assisted content

Blog posts are drafted with AI from cited primary sources and reviewed against a relevance gate before publishing. Interactive tools return AI-generated output. AI output can be wrong or out-of-date — verify anything important against the linked sources.

6. Third-party links and services

The Site links to third-party sites and integrates with third-party services. We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that service's terms.

7. Advertising

The Site may show advertising, including through Google AdSense. Ads do not constitute an endorsement. See our Privacy Policy for details on advertising cookies and how to opt out.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service. You may stop using the Site and delete your account at any time.

THE SITE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TECHNOLOGY TUTOR WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
