What improve a prompt does
A prompt is just the instruction you type into an AI assistant. This page rewrites the prompt you already have so it says who the AI should be, what you actually want, what context matters and what the answer should look like — in the style the model you picked responds to best.
How it works
- 1Paste the prompt you were about to send, in your own words. It does not need to be tidy.
- 2Choose the assistant you are using, because ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Midjourney and Veo respond to different patterns.
- 3Read the rewritten version next to the list of what changed, so you learn the pattern instead of copying it blindly.
- 4Copy it into your assistant, then adjust one thing at a time rather than starting over.

AfterYou are an experienced editor. Write a 700-word blog post for small-business owners about managing a remote team. Use short paragraphs and three subheadings, give one concrete example per section, and end with a checklist. Avoid hype and statistics you cannot source.
Same idea, but now the assistant knows the audience, the length, the structure and what to leave out.
Limits, privacy and safety
- A clearer prompt improves the odds of a useful answer. It cannot make an assistant accurate — you still need to check anything factual.
- Do not paste passwords, card numbers, government IDs, medical records or anyone else's private information into this tool or any AI assistant.
- Model behaviour changes over time, so a prompt that worked last month may need a small adjustment today.

- Why did the AI give me a different answer the second time?
- Most assistants introduce some variation by design, so identical prompts can produce different wording. A more specific prompt narrows that variation.
